As a man who grew up on couch co-op, I appreciate the attempt to bring local play to a tablet. However, 'Funny Box' is a bit of a mixed bag. Some of the mini-games are mildly entertaining for a round or two, but the controls are often too mushy for any real competitive play. It’s more about chaotic luck than skill.

It’s a fine thing to keep on your phone to quiet down some kids for ten minutes, but as a gamer looking for depth, there's nothing here. The physics-based 'hilarity' wears off very quickly once you realize how shallow the mechanics are. It's essentially a budget version of 1-2-Switch, without the charm or hardware integration.
