3 Count Bout is a fascinating relic from the 1993 NeoGeo library, now perfectly preserved in the ACA series. It's a professional wrestling game that leans heavily into the 'arcade' feel—think high-octane action over realistic simulation. The sprites are massive and well-detailed, capturing that classic SNK grit. It’s a bit more 'button-mashy' than modern fighters, but it has a unique charm, especially with the street-fight levels that involve weapons.

Playing this on mobile is made significantly easier thanks to the emulation features. The ability to save states and customize the virtual pad helps mitigate the difficulty spikes typical of 90s arcade games. It’s not the deepest wrestling game ever made, but for a hit of nostalgia or a quick session of over-the-top grappling, it delivers exactly what it promises.

I remember this in the arcades. It was never as good as 'Saturday Night Slam Masters,' but it had that SNK charm. The sprites are big, the animations are chunky, and the street fight stages are a fun departure from the standard ring. It's a relic of a time when wrestling games were more about button mashing and fast reflexes than complex simulation.

As an ACA NEOGEO port, the emulation is flawless. However, playing a game that requires precise 'quarter-circle' movements and rapid button mashing on a glass screen is a nightmare. Unless you’re using a Bluetooth controller, you’re going to get frustrated. It’s a great piece of history, but the gameplay hasn't aged perfectly. It’s hard, unfair in that classic 'quarter-muncher' way, and the touch buttons just don't cut it. For a collector, it’s a must-have; for a casual gamer, it’s a curiosity at best.
