Abi: A Robot's Tale in IOS

An Indie Puzzle Adventure

Walkthrough, Guilds, Tips on this special game

Our Site Score

87/100

Abi: A Robot's Tale is a poignant and visually arresting point-and-click adventure. In a future where humanity has vanished, you control two very different robots: Abi, a small, obsolete household bot, and DD, a massive industrial worker. The dynamic between them is the heart of the game, and the way they interact with the world to solve puzzles is both clever and touching.

The art style is the standout feature—it’s a beautifully rendered post-apocalyptic world that feels more melancholic than scary. The puzzles are generally logical and integrate well into the narrative, though the game is on the shorter side. It’s an 'experience' game that prioritizes atmosphere and story over high-octane action. For fans of games like Machinarium or Broken Age, Abi offers a high-quality, emotionally resonant journey through a world that’s been left behind.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. Abi is more of an interactive short film than a 'game.' The puzzles are elementary, clearly meant to keep the story moving rather than challenge the player. The relationship between the two robots is genuinely touching, but it’s over far too quickly. It’s a beautiful piece of art that leaves you wanting more, perhaps too much more, as the ending feels abrupt. Good for a rainy afternoon, but don't expect a challenge.
