Aether Gazer is good but…
Mon Jun 12 2023 meep the secondOkay gotta admit, I love the game and the style of the game I love also. It gives a lot of free pulls and as a f2p, it’s extremely f2p friendly and pretty easy to level up and obtain characters yet at the same time it’s kind of hard also at the same time. Though done thing I do t like about the game is how you have to pay for outfits. Most games like (as a example) Honkai Impact 3rd has events where you get free costumes but at the same time pay. Though, I don’t want to say much about paying since the game just released. Anyway, in the meantime the game is amazing, I love the gameplay and for future starters of the game will be happy but for the starters tasks, I hope for YoStar to give a better tutorial since sometimes I didn’t understand it and took me sometime. In the meantime, the game is AMAZING!
First Time Playing this Game - AMAZING
Thu Dec 28 2023 VasxianAether Gazer is definitely a good and eye-catching RPG game. I really adore the animations, characters, and voice acting. The animations are truly incredible, the details and other elements are really cool! I don’t know why, but I feel like the animations are familiar, but that’s what made me love it more for some reason! Most of the characters’ designs are perfectly balanced, none of them are too much or too little. The gameplay of each character are very different, interesting, and unique. The voice-acting isn’t boring and simple at all, it truly adds to the characters’ personality instead. I’ve played a few RPG games in the past and whenever I continue playing them, I get bored and delete the game. Most RPG games aren’t really for me, but this one hasn’t made me bored at all. I usually end up skipping the dialogue, but I haven’t skipped through the storyline once! Aether Gazer is such a good game and I plan to continue playing it!
It’s unfair…
Mon May 20 2024 YoMarkwI was expecting this game to be lacking, due to the ratings and expectations of others. However, I was proven wrong and happen to be now addicted to this game. From the characters, to the voicing acting, to the dialogue. For me, it’s all I ever wanted!
I really like the combat, the team combo moves of whatever you call them. And their idols at the end of each victory, I’d hate to compare, but it’s the best I’ve seen so far. Now, I don’t usually give ratings, I don’t usually go into detail about combat skills or whatever(I don’t have the capacity for such complications) but, this game is definitely worth the experience. Decent voice actors, some of my favorite are even here! And the characters are really good too, have their own personality, unique relationships. But, I’m not really here to analyze each character, I’m just complimenting the game while still trying to wrap my head around the lack of people playing.
It pains me to not give it 5 star
Wed May 24 2023 Sharp 4ceAs an honest review, I have to force myself to rate this game at a 4 star. Why? Well, to begin, the reason I found it difficult to NOT rate it a 5 star is because the game looks amazing and there is a lot of effort put into characters, environments, enemies, etc. visually, in terms of aesthetics and fluidity.
The issue with the game is that it’s the same repetitive process of game progression styles to those other games such as PGR and smaller games, except this one is more toward the ones of smaller games where there are tons of currencies, activities, and things to pay attention to. Also, the story did not seem engrossing at the start which lead to me skipping 50-80% of it throughout playing.
I would’ve loved to see this game do well such as arknights and the such, but it sadly lacks something “new” fundamentally which will not take it far. It really depresses me.
Zoned in 🌟🔥
Mon Oct 09 2023 T0ucH30I don’t write reviews for mobile games…I’m a console gamer, been one since the 90’s…and I honestly have to say this game has my full attention. I dropped $10 to support the devs (so far) but this game is very giving with supplies, characters, experience points, energy, There’s barely any limitation if you grind and go hard at it. I work and have a family so I don’t put in as much time as I’d like but when I take a break from Starfield and I’m not home this game gets my full attention. Great game guys, I suggest y’all download it and be with them from the beginning because after time passes and it becomes popular the freebies get replaced. 5/5. Amazing visuals, strong story, great characters, lightning fast gameplay and just overall non-greedy f2p tactics. You have a new fan 🌟
A nice side game
Tue Sep 05 2023 Obama_Bin_SavageThis is one of the few gacha games that respects your time. Go in and do your routine for around 5-10 minutes then you can go about your day. Rinse and repeat. Easy to play and no need to follow what is “meta.” You can build whoever you want to build without being left behind. Also this is one of the few actual f2p games. You can play this game as a free 2 play and not spend a dime to be comfortable. I would recommend spending on a monthly on this game given how generous they are to support the game but you do not have to if you do not want to. I have played similar games like this but Aether Gazer is simply the one game that will respect you. If you feel overwhelmed with what is meta on other games, give this game a shot and go casual. It will be a chill and fun experience.
Missed Promise
Thu Dec 28 2023 the_pdubGood: balanced difficulty, fair build tuning, fine outfits, decent rewards, focus on combat, very farmable gacha, extra effort to deliver QoL early, music from Vanguard Sound, cooler kits than Genshin: S Tsuku, S Hades, A Buzenbo are what Ei, Yae, Shinobu should've been.
Mixed: combat design can be unrewarding, just mash skills and ult, little timing and spacing. Some exceptions: S Tsuku (greatly) and S Hades (less so) reward finesse not mashing. Writing misses more than it hits.
Bad: English voiceovers and can't delete them, translation mistakes, rare bugs. The 50/50 gacha is awful, even with the 2+% rate, expanding pool, and weapons exemption. Understaffing: mishaps and extended maintenance that take a day aren’t rare. V2 S chars are too much in power but too little in visual quality and combat complexity compared to v1. Dorm and recent events further drift from combat. Increasingly, this game is just a worse version of PGR and not worth its massive disk usage.
Streamlined Action
Fri Oct 27 2023 Shadowk556I personally like this game over PGR because like someone else mentioned, it respects my time when it comes to dailies. I always hated those unnecessary chores of building a base or taking care of your characters in chibi forms. It’s like, I downloaded the game for the action, not a day care sim. I’ve heard other reviews mention combat complexity and I’d have to agree that some characters can be mashy, but there are different archetypes, like for instance I like playing characters that are counter centric. I personally enjoyed this game a lot for the past couple months and would recommend it for people who don’t want to feel like there in a committed relationship.
I love this game but please allow us to play this game while playing music at the same time 😭
Mon Feb 19 2024 Mintyday4Okay sorry for the long title but you have to understand how cool it is to play this game while having music on. This game is so much fun to me especially with the different kinds of characters designs, along with the outfits. The fact you can make any specific characters have a duo ability is so amazing to me as well, I just really want to play this game with headphones on and play my own music at the same time. Overall best game I’ve found and played for almost a year now!
lol I’m totally here for the google play store slander I hope App Store follows behind
Tue May 27 2025 lele198Trash game nothing is the same as it was first released prime example of nothing good lasts forever and it makes my XS MAX overheat rather as honkai impact doesn’t and it’s a much larger game there is no way for Aether gazer to overheat my phone and it’s not even 3 years old yet. I completely agree with the google play store reviews yostar completely got rid of English voice acting even when checking settings to make sure that it was set to English the default language is still Japanese. as of now it’s being rated 3.7 on google play store and counting last checked it was 3.8 it’s probably 3.6 by now they are not happy with the changes being made time will tell what happens next year. no wonders yostar gives out major rewards like candy when you go trick or treating on Halloween
