Air Hockey is a high-energy, local multiplayer powerhouse that turns your iPhone or iPad into a mini-arcade. The physics are the real star here; the puck moves with a realistic 'frictionless' glide, and the collisions feel incredibly snappy. It perfectly captures that frantic, 'one-more-match' feeling of the real tabletop game. The neon aesthetic is vibrant and fits the high-speed action perfectly.

The single-player mode against the AI is competent, with several difficulty levels that can actually put up a serious fight. However, the game truly shines in '2-Player' mode on a single device, making it one of the best 'wait-in-line' games to play with a friend. The touch controls are perfectly responsive, ensuring that your mallet movements are one-to-one with your finger. It’s a simple, polished, and extremely fun arcade classic that has aged remarkably well.

- iPhone X support. This adds a new Air Hockey table size to fill the iPhone X's screen. It looks awesome! The new aspect ratio of the iPhone also means that wireless multiplayer games on the iPhone X will no longer work with iPhones other than the iPhone X.
- Added "Play Again" button on the iPhone build so that you don't have to go through the menu again after playing a game.
- GDPR update
- Fixed a problem that could cause a crash on startup for devices running iOS 9.
- Fixed a menu bug that caused some players' games to not start properly after upgrading.

Defensive Positioning

The biggest mistake beginners make is chasing the puck too far forward. Keep your paddle in the bottom third of your half. Small, controlled movements are much more effective for blocking high-speed bank shots than wild lunges. Wait for the puck to slow down or hit a corner before unleashing a powerful offensive strike.
