Stunning. The very best of the best.
Fri Nov 23 2018 hnuhbuyI am a former game developer at Acclaim Entertainment, and so I can be extremely critical of games. Air Attack and Air Attack 2 are games that are in a class of their own. The level of detail, imagination, and gameplay dynamics is unprecedented. This represents an extremely rare case of getting everything right. Not only right, but stunningly perfect. The gameplay offers many different strategies and missions, and there are NO microtransactions. This is a developer that I will always support.
The music, graphics, gameplay, and progression system is so good that I feel this game is not only the best game of this type on mobile, but the very best game on any platform. It is that good. It has tremendous replay value, not only for the incredibly depth of gameplay, but how the entire game is presented. Buy it and support this developer.
My only wish is that they make an Air Attack 3. I would also like Air Attack 1 to become compatible with iOS 12. I sure hope they do it, because that is also an incredible game.

The level of detail is AMAZING!! It's game makers like these that make me love the App Store. Thank you! The music is epic!
I have to say tho, once you've finished the game and purchased all the upgrades the daily missions are kinda pointless. Can't buy anything with all the money/stars you earn, wish they'd add more planes, levels and content! Yes we'll pay for it!! How about German secret weapons, Me-262, Horton flying wing, there's a ton you could add! Or give us Air Attack 3, where you can play as Germany and fight the Russians, sad to see such an amazing game like this and the potential this dev team has not make a sequel, prequel or keep adding new things to this game!

Tue Apr 21 2020 toastyvxbesI remember playing the old version of the game, air attack hd. I loved that game! Yesterday, out of the blue I just remembered times of me playing it. I spent 4 hours trying to find the game. I found out Air Attack HD was removed and replaced with this one. Bummer! I decided to buy it and give it a try. Man, did I get nostalgic! I do miss the old soundtrack though. I only have 1 minor issue, though. The bombing mechanism (tap) is just a little wonky... when I let go of the screen and put my finger back, it drops a bomb. I suggest that you put it in the corner where you activate the power ups. And 1 suggestion, too. Please bring back AirAttack HD!! Some users also said this and I agree. but this game is great! I love how you know what the planes are called, unlike those cheap games that call the F4U Corsair something like “Bending Wing”, haha.

I have to pinch myself every so often while I’m playing this because the graphics is amazing the levels are challenging. I keep expecting advertisements to pop out or “$.99 to continue “ There are no shortcuts. You get what you earn. I would gladly pay for this game and some more.
Developers, if you are still around. Please update this game so that it fits the new iPad pros. Thank you so much for this game. It has given me hours of fun!
Quite good, with a few exceptions
Mon Jan 14 2019 naterdeemanGreat game, so well designed. Smooth and seamless graphics. Fast action and yet it doesn’t overwhelm processing on most decent smart phones and pads that I know of.
I wish there were more levels, or an air attack 3 at the very least. I’d pay $5+ in a heartbeat for more. Maybe make this game a bit harder perhaps? Add some differing music for different missions maybe?
I also would love to experience more sequences where the screenplay rotates occasionally either in fighting ‘bosses’, or in transitioning from different areas. Visually I get tired of the same forward scrolling. The developer is capable of this as the rotation happens in a few missions and then also at the end of every successful mission just about. The graphics are awesome, and it pronounces the 3D effect in those rotations.
Practically Perfect in Every Way
Sat Mar 09 2019 The_Tenth_DoctroThis game is, there’s no other way to say it, exceptional. The graphics, while a bit blocky, are exceptional for iOS. The gameplay is fun, some might say repetitive, but I never get tired of flying around in the P-38 and shooting up the Nazis.
The amount of detail and effort in every level is exceptional, each level is unique in nearly all regards. And the bosses are great.
My only qualm: I wish we had more, more of the one-off special sequences like the chase sequence. More levels, bosses. One thing I would suggest is bringing back the winter and desert areas from the first (also exceptional) game, and more naval levels.
This is just personal opinion but my favorite part was always watching enemy ships sink after killing them , so I would recommend more of that instead of having the ships fall apart. And stuff like the aircraft carrier from the volcano, more levels against the Japanese (especially the harbor ones) would make this game perfect.
So, sorry to only give four stars, this game truly is incredibly good, but it could be even better.
P.S. please add compatibility for the first game I played it for years and I’m really sad that I can’t go back and relive old times on it.
Hidden Gem in an Evil Trend

The fact that you guys only charge $0.99 for a masterpiece like this is truly remarkable. Especially in this era where seems like almost every developers only care about maximizing profit over gameplay.
Will support games like this forever!
Please bring back Air Attack HD
Fri Mar 15 2019 Tempus Fugit-Memento MoriAir Attack 2 is an amazing game, one of the best out there. But the only problem is that after a while it gets a little monotonous. I’m begging you to please bring back the first Air Attack HD even if it has old graphics. I don’t care, I’d give anything to listen to the old soundtrack while playing the game. I can’t wait for Air Attack 3 if you guys are planning it, but I highly recommend bringing back Air Attack HD. Thanks for reading.

Gameplay is very good. No ADS!!! This version of this game has so many extra things it offers that honestly I’m just trying to get a grasp of everything that’s in this game. It’s deep. I wish there was more games of this quality and integrity. Epically recommended!

I also enjoy the fact that once purchased, there are no in app extra purchases. It’s all there. The whole game. Now, you have to play to earn in game coins to upgrade your fighters, but to me, that’s the fun in it. Very well made game. I will have this on my phone for a good long time!
