Airborne Motocross Racing in IOS

Our Site Score

82/100

Airborne Motocross Racing takes the established trial-racing genre and gives it a literal lift. By combining traditional bike physics with gliders and parachutes, the game moves away from just managing balance to managing aerodynamics. The sense of scale when you launch off a massive ramp and deploy a hang glider is genuinely exhilarating for a mobile title.

The progression loop is tight—winning races earns you currency to upgrade your bike's engine, traction, and glider efficiency. Visually, the low-poly 3D art style is vibrant and keeps the frame rate high, which is crucial for a game that relies so heavily on physics timing. While the initial levels are a breeze, the later tracks require a nuanced understanding of when to stay on the ground for speed and when to take to the air to bypass obstacles. It’s a refreshing spin on the 'Trials' formula that feels tailor-made for quick mobile sessions.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. The idea of adding a glider to a dirt bike is... interesting, I guess. But in practice, it just feels like the game doesn't know what it wants to be. The physics are floaty—not in a 'fun' way, but in a 'disconnected' way. I never feel like I'm actually in control of the bike on the ground.

The tracks are designed to force you into the air, making the 'racing' part feel like a secondary chore. The graphics are colorful but lack any real detail. It’s okay for a few minutes, but it lacks the precision of the greats like Trials. It feels like a gimmick that ran out of steam before it reached the finish line.

    The Game

    Available on: iPhone, iPad, iPod

    Version 1.6.0Mon Jul 15 2024

    Some minor fixes and improvements.

Once you’ve got the hang glider mounted on your dirt bike, you’ll spend a lot of time in the air. Especially if you combine it with a nitro booster. Woohoo!

    Racing

Dash through the tracks and race against others to win items. Blow up obstacles with the rocket launcher. Protect yourself with a force field. Defy gravity. Jump. Fly!

Use items to speed up your motorcycle. But don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s only about the best gear. There is a lot of skill involved. To make it to the very top of the leaderboards, you’ll need to git gud.

    Exploration

Need a break? Then take your time to explore the tracks or follow a map to a hidden treasure. Combine items to reach new areas. Use them to overcome obstacles. Unlock new tracks and solve (optional) physics puzzles along the way.

    Content

3D gfx, 240+ MX tracks, high scores, tournaments, multiplayer (async PvP). And if that isn’t enough, then maybe you’d enjoy the challenges. Guide a huge beach ball into the goal. Try to race with your bike shrunk down to the size of a cat...

Survive the offroad trials and join this fun race adventure!
