Great game
Wed Sep 21 2022 JayRawk1524This game is one of those casual games that really gives you several ways to scratch a certain itch when it comes to building up progress and pushing forward in a game. There always seems to be an event going on so there’s always something to strive for. I also spend money on games I enjoy to help support the creators. For this game, I have spent several hundred dollars in support because of my love for this game, but I find that it is constantly and randomly down and unplayable at most times. Due to the game never loading past the starting screen. One time the game broke for 4 days right after an update, this current time I went to sleep for a few hours and now I haven’t been able to get into the game in 6 hours with no explanation, no communication, unable to get into the app to even request help or anything. So if you are a person that takes value in completing events, these in game events are fun but almost impossible to finish based on how poorly operated this game is. This will probably be my only review without a follow up as the amount I have spent on this game vs the inability to play it is greatly unbalanced without dev assistance.
Good systems but far too greedy and not really idle
Wed Feb 14 2024 _NullyThe systems and mechanics in this game are fun but like everyone else says, it’s littered with paid options. If you want to make meaningful progress, you do need their VIP system. Which would be fine but there’s 13 tiers with each costing increasingly more. The total cost of it is absurd (like several hundreds) and honestly pretty tasteless because there are other game features locked behind it. You also can’t really progress unless you leave your device on all day because you need to merge to level up which doesn’t happen while offline. So it’s not really an idle system that lets you progress in a meaningful way. Overall, if you aren’t keen on spending a ton of money or an absurd amount of your time, just play this very casually if you have nothing better to do. Otherwise find something more productive to do with your idle time lol. Convincing the studio to try and lower the pay walls aren’t worth the effort given the cash they get from the whales. These games are just a cash metric system designed to game those with far too much disposable income.
In response to the developer response:
Sorry but no, I don’t have anything to discuss in private. Maybe you should address the lack of communication on your own Discord and actually respond to players and their grievances rather than update the paid options only.
Fun game, a few weird little things
Mon Oct 17 2022 ChaseC20Really fun game, enjoy the arrow combination and such. However I think some aspects are not good/need to be changed. One thing is prices of in app purchases. While most of them are decently priced, there are a few that are straight up outrageous. I’ve seen a few options well over $100+ “on sale” with the retail price well over that and even $1000+. There’s no reason to have in app purchases anywhere close to $100 to begin with. Another thing is a lot of the info and data about your arrows and characters aren’t explained well. If there was a info on all the stats that would be cool, like damage per arrow with/without effects. And how the skill upgrade skill actually upgrades the skill. Often times I log in the game and my characters are missing from the map and I have to reload the map for them to appear. This new village seems pointless and a waste of diamonds. Looks like a clash of clans knock off. And it takes 10 minutes to remove a tree and can only too one at a time. And 8 hours to upgrade the first home base? It’s a fun game. But becoming more monotonous with little progression without pay to win. But they don’t care as much as long as they get your money first
Addicting
Thu Dec 28 2023 jjecka14My phone died last night because I fell asleep with the game on lol. My husband was playing this game and we’re both addicted to it now. I like that it’s a simple AFK game and watching the arrows combine gives me a good serotonin boost 😂
The ads aren’t invasive like in other games where they just pop out at you - you can choose to watch them for some extra freebies and the cooldowns are relatively short. If there was one complaint I have, it would be that the dropdown menu for paid packages and event stuff can be kind of annoying because they take up screen space every time I clear an event quest or something. Other than that, I like it 👍🏼
It’s fine, but there are a bunch of really minor grievances
Fri Jul 07 2023 Ruby RioluTo get my nitpicking out of the way, there are a bunch of simultaneous events going on right now, and they’re covering my health bar and also going off the bottom of the playable area, so that’s annoying. Also, it doesn’t show what you’re watching the randomly interspersed ads for (for the record, it’s high level arrows). Also also, when you activate the auto merge stat, you can’t turn it off, which should really be a feature they add. The actual gameplay on display is pretty good though, and the PVP is… well, fine, I suppose, I’m not much of a PVP guy. My only actual issue, as opposed to all the nitpicks I’ve mentioned so far, is that it crashes. It’s never a big crash, and it never causes me to lose any progress more than half a second’s worth, but it’s still weirdly unstable. That said, yeah, I’d recommend this game, it’s pretty good.
Great Game but
Fri Nov 25 2022 milfalconThe game is great. I’ve spent many hours playing. But there is no support no way to contact the company for problems with the game. Such as anytime they update the game there are problems with pvp. Stored information about your account example I had 4 pet slot unlocked then after the update I had 3 slots open and it asked me to buy the 4th slot again it took my diamonds to unlock it but didn’t unlock it so I clicked it again took my diamonds again and still didn’t unlock it reloaded the game my slot was open again but still missing all my diamonds on something I already paid for weeks ago. Summoned pets got the new pet for 6 souls but it’s only showing I have 1 soul. I understand there are problems when games are updated but this is every time they update and no support to get your account straightened out. They really need to do something about it 5 stars if they added support and actually do something about problems.
Fun but I feel scammed
Sat Sep 09 2023 silverthreatWell this game does have lots of fun things about it and it has multiple “mini games” inside so there’s always something to do and another way to play the game. However, this game is HIGHLY dependent on paying to advance. Unless you want to play for 3 years. I am writing this review because of one scenario literally, but it was enough to infuriate me.
There is a part of the game called “Zelda’s Circus”. In it there are what looks like carnival/casino type games. One being roulette and the only available one atm. OH and you need to BUY tickets just to play. So I buy 25 tickets @ $17, whatever, the rewards seem decent. I go through all 25 tickets and each time I land on only TWO rewards, the two lowest ones possible. In roulette. Do you know the odds of landing on only two spots in roulette out of 25 spins?!??!! Astronomical. THAT incident alone shows me the amount of BUL***** this game is and how greedy and how DISPROPORTIONATE the $$-to-reward ratio is.
Save your money. Don’t play. Move on. Not worth it. Ruined a great game with greed. Failures
In Search of the Original Fun
Thu Aug 24 2023 d3r3nicBy the time I reached level 10 with the arrows, I realized that levels, stages, and bosses were mere numerical changes, with only shifting shapes and rewards. Strip away the level numbers and visuals, and the core game mechanics remain repetitive. It lost its allure after just the second arrow level. Now, I find myself logging in merely to claim rewards, driven only by the time I’ve already invested. It feels more like a chore than a pleasure. What’s the enjoyment in seemingly endless arrow levels? Do I feel a sense of accomplishment as I level up? No. Is there a novel feature that reignites my passion for the game? Sadly, no. It’s an endless loop of levels and a monotonous concept.
Games should captivate players during gameplay. Yet with this game, as with many others lately, it seems the only true reward comes from spending real money on items, a concept that just doesn’t resonate with me.
Good game, but
Wed Dec 20 2023 ReeeekyI was left on read by their support team. I'll provide context to this situation. I download the game and thoroughly enjoyed playing it. I even spent some money on the VIP and ad block. I accidentally deleted my account and tried to reach out to support for help. They asked me for a bunch of information (In game name, receipts, screenshots, guild and family name) I was only able to provide 3/5. They still haven't gotten back to me and I've given up on getting my account back. They weren't able to help in any way and this has gone on for 5 days now.
If you do decide to play this game, make sure to take a screenshot of your character name and ID. Take it a step further and your in game profile to an email or Game Center ID.
TL;dr good game, but customer service left me in the dust when I needed their help. Ended up never getting my account back and quitting.
Great to Terrible
Tue Feb 06 2024 iKeopiAt first I really liked this game, playing it every day as a f2p player. I generally like to play for a little before I spend on the game and so far it looked like a nicely made game.
The thing is, an update just came out that I didn’t have, the invite friends update. I have already invited 3 of my friends to play, (who have spent money btw) so I figured I can get more on for more rewards this way.
In nearly all mobile games, if you delete the game, your data stays saved. I suspected that this was one of them since there was a “cloud save”. What is the use of adding a cloud save when it does nothing? Anyways, I lost my account.
This was no problem however since I took a picture of my UID and other screenshots of the game when talking about it to my friend. “I’ll just contact support and get it back” I had hoped and so I did. They took forever to reply and when they did it was an automated response, plus they said they couldn’t have done anything since I didn’t buy something.
What a ridiculous response. There is location data that they probably stole from me, last login time, same device data, AND I have a picture if my UID. But nothing can be done without a payment receipt. Ridiculous.
