Dinsun here. It’s refreshing to play as the monster for once. Attack of the Earthlings has a great sense of humor—the way it depicts the human 'invaders' as bumbling corporate drones is genuinely funny. Mechanically, it’s a solid tactical game. It doesn't have the scale or depth of an XCOM, but it uses its biomass-recycling mechanic well to create a unique flow.
You have to balance being sneaky with aggressive consumption to keep your unit count up. It can be a bit clunky on a touchscreen; selecting specific tiles isn't always as precise as it would be with a mouse. Also, the campaign is relatively short. For a conservative gamer, the humor might be a bit loud at times, but the core strategy is sound. It’s a good 'Strategy Lite' for mobile users who want something with a bit more bite than the usual casual fare.
