Dinsun Review
I’m not a big sports guy, but Baseball Stars Professional is one of those games that transcends the genre. It’s pure arcade energy. The players are huge, the animations are expressive, and the pacing is lightning-fast. It doesn't bog you down with statistics or complex management systems—you just pitch, hit, and run. It’s the kind of game that was perfect for an arcade cabinet in 1990 and still works surprisingly well on a phone today.
The controls translate better to touch than SNK’s fighting games because the timing is more forgiving. That said, it’s still an old game. The AI is either brain-dead or supernatural, with no middle ground. And while the graphics were cutting-edge at the time, they’re very simplistic by today’s standards. It’s a fun trip down memory lane, but it probably won’t hold your attention for more than a few games.
