I’m reviewing this from the perspective of utility, but let's be honest: this isn't a game. It’s a tool for desperate parents. As a 40-year-old, I find the concept of 'digital rattles' a bit depressing. We used to give kids plastic keys; now we give them OLED screens. Technically, the app is fine. The child lock feature is the only reason it’s worth a second look—it actually works and saves you the headache of finding your kid has accidentally emailed your boss.

The 'gameplay' is non-existent. You shake it, it makes a sound. You tap it, it changes color. It’s primitive. The visuals are bright and garish, which I suppose is what babies like, but it’s an eyesore for anyone else. It’s a conservative, singular-purpose app. It doesn't have depth, and it doesn't need it. It’s a niche utility that serves a purpose for about six months of a child’s life and then becomes obsolete. I can't score it high because it's barely software, but it's not 'bad' at what it tries to do.
