Bad Match tries to be clever by flipping the script on the matching genre. Instead of finding what's the same, you find what's different. It’s a gimmick that wears thin in about three minutes. The visual design is cluttered, which I assume is intended to make the game harder, but it just makes it an eyesore.
It feels like a psychological test rather than a game. There’s no charm here, no 'juice' in the interactions, and the sound effects are grating. I’m all for games that challenge the brain, but Bad Match just gives me a headache. It's the kind of game that exists solely because the developer had a 'what if' idea but forgot to make it fun. Avoid this unless you enjoy being frustrated by intentional UI obfuscation.
