I've played a lot of these tycoon games, and Berry Factory is better than most in terms of presentation. The low-poly art style is clean, and the production lines are fun to watch for a while. However, like most 'idle' games, it hits a wall. Once you reach a certain point, the 'automation' you've worked for is stripped away when you move to a new factory, which feels like a slap in the face. Why work for efficiency if the game just takes it away to force a reset?
The amount of pop-ups upon launching the game is also obnoxious. It’s like walking into a store and having five salesmen jump in front of you before you even see the products. It’s a decent time-waster, but it lacks the long-term balancing required to keep a serious gamer engaged. It's fine for the first few days, then it just becomes a chore.
