I have no problem with religious themes in games, but I do have a problem with lazy development. Bible Tiles is a standard 'match three' or Mahjong-lite clone that has had a Bible-themed coat of paint slapped onto it. There is zero integration between the gameplay and the theme. You match tiles, and then a verse pops up. You could replace the verses with fortune cookie sayings and the 'game' would be identical.

As a 40-year-old, I've played Mahjong and tile-matchers since the Windows 3.1 era. This game offers absolutely nothing new to the genre. It’s safe, it’s clean, and it’s profoundly boring. If you want to learn the Bible, read the book. If you want to play a puzzle game, play something with original mechanics. Combining the two in this way results in something that fails to be good at either.
