Bleap is fine. It works. The music sync is accurate, which is more than I can say for half the rhythm games on this store. But it’s as clinical as a doctor's office. There’s no personality here, just neon lines and generic EDM. It’s the kind of game you play while waiting for the bus and forget about immediately after.
The 'procedural' levels are just a fancy way of saying they didn't want to design handcrafted stages. It lacks the intentionality of the greats like Rez or even DDR. It’s a pure reflex test, and while that has its place, it doesn't hold my interest for more than ten minutes. It’s a well-made tool for wasting time, nothing more.
