Bart Bonte is a designer I’ve come to respect. His games, including Boo, are always focused and mechanically sound. The concept here is brilliant: reverse-engineering a visual pattern through a series of additive and subtractive steps. It requires the kind of 'layered' thinking that I find genuinely engaging. It’s minimalist in the best way—no unnecessary tutorials, just a series of challenges that speak for themselves.
The presentation is clean and charming without being over-the-top. While it’s a relatively short game, the logic puzzles are of a high caliber. It’s the kind of mobile title I actually enjoy: a premium, intelligent experience that doesn't try to hook you with gambling mechanics or endless notifications. It’s a solid win for the puzzle genre.
