Celtreos Lite is a love letter to the 'bullet hell' shooters of the late 80s. It’s a horizontal shmup that focuses heavily on ship customization. Even in this Lite version, you get a great taste of the frantic, screen-filling action that defines the genre. The graphics are clean and modern, avoiding the cluttered look that can often make these games frustrating on smaller mobile screens.
What sets it apart is the 'Array' system, which lets you configure your pods and secondary weapons in real-time. It’s a game of pattern recognition and reflexes. While it can be punishingly difficult, the 'respawn' mechanics are fair, making it accessible to newcomers while still providing the high-level challenge that veteran pilots crave. It’s a solid, no-nonsense arcade experience.

Celtreos Lite is a high-octane side-scrolling space shooter. Players take control of a highly customizable starship, battling through diverse alien environments. The game features a unique weapon array system, allowing you to choose and upgrade multiple firing patterns. Face off against massive bosses and hundreds of enemy ships in a quest for the high score. This Lite version offers a curated selection of stages and ships from the full game.
Fast-paced horizontal shooter action
Unique weapon array customization
Challenging boss encounters
Modern graphics with a retro feel
Don't just stick with one weapon. Use the 'Spread' shot for standard waves to cover more of the screen, but switch to the 'Focused Beam' as soon as the boss appears to maximize damage on their weak points.
Most enemies fire in predictable bursts. Instead of moving all over the screen, make small, precise adjustments near the center. This keeps your ship steady and makes it easier to thread the needle through dense projectile clouds.
The Lite version features the first few stages and a limited ship selection, while the Full version includes the complete campaign and all unlockables.
