Dinsun Review
Dinsun again. Clear and Shoot is essentially a 'diet' version of the physics puzzlers we saw during the early smartphone boom. It’s competent, which is more than I can say for some of the other trash on the store, but it’s completely devoid of personality. The 'shooting' is just a means to an end for the puzzles, and those puzzles are rarely challenging. I blew through the first twenty levels in as many minutes without a single moment of pause.
The physics engine is predictable, which is a pro, but the level design is uninspired. It feels like these stages were generated by an algorithm rather than a human designer. There's no sense of 'eureka' when you solve a stage. It’s just 'on to the next one.' If you’ve played any physics shooter in the last decade, you’ve already played this, likely with better graphics and sound design. It's mediocrity personified.
