Dinsun here. We’re in the middle of a 'Vampire Survivors' clone war, and Cyberwave Survivor is a casualty. It’s got the neon lights and the synthwave music, but the gameplay balance is a mess. You’re either invincible or dead in two seconds; there’s very little middle ground where actual skill comes into play.

The upgrades are generic—'faster fire rate,' 'more damage,' 'spinning blades'—I’ve seen them all before. The performance tanks when there are too many enemies on screen, which is ironic for a game about surviving swarms. It’s a derivative piece of software that relies on the cyberpunk aesthetic to distract you from the fact that it has no new ideas. Stick to the original or play 'Brotato' instead.
