DEAD TRIGGER 2: Zombie Games in IOS

★★★★★ Needs improvement

I played the first dead trigger and was very impressed and the sequel is twice as entertaining. But I feel like that there needs to be changes within the games. For the China region the first mission is “hi shanghai” I get the pun but Shanghai is like on the other side of China compared to where the mission is. Next thing is the in-game currency balance. It seems like after a mission my money is already gone. For beginners you really have to save up to flourish in the game. After a mission I need to upgrade my guns (which can cost fortunes) because the virus is mutating faster than Usain Bolt. I like the game to actually reward a little more to the player for them to actually catch up. One other thing is weapons. There’s is definitely more cooler weapons and a bigger variety compared to the last game, however blueprints is not given at a quantity you expect. You can only get blue prints by killing elite zombies and you can only get one out of the whole mission (sometimes you can get two) I understand the developers trying to balance the whole thing out, but it just takes too long. After you complete a campaign mission ,which always drops you a blue print, it takes like 10min to unlock the next mission. You eventually put it off because our attention span is like a bird. What I suggests is that the game gives players chance to play missions that allows them to get blueprints. Or even to crates that you open by using gold or daily reward.

★★★★★ Fun, but needs work in a few areas

This game is very fun and entertaining, and there’s a lot to do. But there’s also a lot missing. I, for one, would very much like to see NPC interactions besides defense missions (i.e. talking to each other via comms, or maybe even a first person hideout). Also, weapons are very annoying to get. In my previous two accounts, I had already beaten Africa by the time I found my THIRD Ithaca blueprint. Character customization could be a huge opportunity to do what a lot of other games don’t. Even if it’s just hair, skin, and gender, it’s still adds a new level of originality and personality to each player. I definitely think this game could also benefit from an armor system. Adding in helmets and pads could add a new grind to the game (and possibly another opportunity for in-app purchases) and players could finally stylize their character. Finally (and I’m not sure if they did add this, as I just made a new account), there should be some sort of clan system. Some sort of group within the game where you can organize and execute special missions and unlock powerful weapons and gear. You could also have 2-3 clan mates in the Arena at a time, which could lead to higher rounds and higher rewards, along with teamwork skills and possible new opportunities for lower players. Don’t get me wrong, I love the game, but I don’t love the repetitive and isolated feel of it.

Okay I'm fine with a couple of ads here and there but AFTER EVERY MISSION!? NO!!! After every, and I mean EVERY mission there is an ad! I'm not saying you have to completely take away the ads (even though that would be awesome) I'm just saying reduce the amount you of ads that pop up!! Seriously it's annoying!! Just make it so there aren't as many ads! Okay? Like maybe one or 2 ads from time to time okay? Okay! ALSO can you add a record button because there was some great moments of killing Z's and I REALLY wanted to save them to my photos! So PLEASE add that! Btw can you decrease how much money it takes to upgrade the tech? Because I am NOT gonna spend 350,000 JUST to upgrade my tech/gun guy/engineer/hot nurse lady/gold guy! It was hard enough collecting 180,000!! And decrease the amount of time it takes for tech/gun guy/engineer/hot nurse lady/gold guy to upgrade too? Because I'm sorry but it takes 3 WHOLE DAYS JUST TO BE COMPLETED? I need new stuff man I can't wait that long to get new stuff!! Also maybe make an option for like escort missions to pick who you want to come along with you, I dunno just a thought. When at least the ads, money cost and time wait are decreased then I will make it 5 stars but for now it's 3

★★★★★ Please optimize this app for iPhone X!!!!

This is becoming ridiculous!! The next iPhone will be coming out in a few months but their app is STILL not optimized for the iPhone X!!! Sometimes I am playing and the screen gets cut off at the bottom and I have no choice but to relaunch the app and start again losing whatever progress I made during the mission that I was playing. It’s a fun game but there are just WAY TOO MANY splash screens advertising tournaments. I literally have to go through at least 5 of them before I can even interact with the game. I have to keep tapping on the back button to close them. Also there should be a way to dismiss the “watch video for a mysterious treasure”. These things are becoming VERY ANNOYING! I have purchased several in-game purchases but it seems like I still have to deal with advertisements for tournaments which I don’t care for. Otherwise I really enjoy playing the game. I am so annoyed by these things I have dropped my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars!!

★★★★★ Good but a couple issues

This is the best zombie killer game I have played for my phone. Has a good storyline, good graphics, etc… I do have a couple of issues: 1. The wait times are long to upgrade both weapons and the other characters. The scientist, for instance, is taking over two days to go from level five to level six. Everything else is based on the level of the scientist. This means that no game progression can be made for two days. Now you could use gold to speed up the process, but acquiring 361 gold in this game is very unlikely. 2. The mutating virus. Yes the virus mutates and the zombies get stronger. But you couple that with the slow progression and this game gets tough. I think there are some fixes and then this game would be five stars. You could have speed ups for the level ups process. Heck, you could sell them. You could have the weapon level up be a little faster. If you are going to mutate zombies this fast, you should have the weapons at least come close to matching. 3. The storyline is good but WAY to short! Thanks for reading!

★★★★★ Disappointing - Money Grab, Glitchy, & Boring

No opportunity to earn enough gold to purchase upgrades. If you want to upgrade your weapons, or anything else, in a reasonable amount of time you have to pay. Otherwise you wait 10-15days for an upgrade. System has been very glitchy, often it will shut down in the middle of a game, or report an incorrect time limit for a challenge, or simply freeze up. Boring - the tournaments are lame it’s the same board and zombies keep coming in waves. But in each wave they become more difficult to kill. By the 5th or 6th wave Mk 11 weapons have minimal efficacy. The best part about the game is finding the hidden firecrackers/presents they do during holidays only. The rest of the time they have hidden farm animals, the problem is they don’t tell you how many per board. You also can’t make specific upgrades to your firearms. For example you can upgrade the level but not the ammo capacity or firing rate. Plus when you upgrade the weapons level the zombies’ level increases as well making it a wash. Better challenges, better rewards. The current challenges are lame and offer no real incentive. For instance, complete 350 games for 10 gold pieces, but you need 100s of gold for a single upgrade.

★★★★★ How to make your game better:

Add all the zombies (normal and special z’s) you had in the original Dead Trigger, and cut the waiting times by 20-35%, and please add more to the campaign, with an additional story that can start in Russia, where you try to find a cure. Another thing you could do is make an option to accessorize your guns with special sights and lights, lasers and barrels(suppressors, silencers, and muzzles). For the most part I think you guys should just add different iron sights, and make one or two sniper rifles available for non-mounted weapon levels, one could be from WW2 and one could be modern. If you add lasers but no option to accessorize, put a red on on the Scar, and a green one on the M4. The first thing I mentioned to work on would be the zombies, because that’s the easiest thing to do, then add more to the campaign. Bye! Dead Trigger Forever! -P.S. I can no longer play the Dead Trigger 2, every time I tap on the app it doesn’t open. Is that a glitch?
