I remember my sister playing with real paper dolls—actual scissors, actual glue, actual imagination. This 'DIY' version removes the craft and replaces it with a 'watch-this-ad-to-unlock-a-hat' loop. Calling it a game is a stretch; it’s a dressing simulator where the 'gameplay' is just clicking on icons. There’s no challenge, no failure state, and certainly no creative freedom when everything is locked behind a paywall or an advertisement.
The 'story' plots are laughably shallow, existing only to transition you from one dress-up screen to the next. The art style is that generic, wide-eyed 'CalArts' look that seems to be the default for every low-budget mobile title. It’s clearly aimed at children, which makes the aggressive monetization even more distasteful. If you want to be creative, buy some actual paper and a pack of markers. You’ll have more fun and see fewer ads.
