Dinsun Review

I don't usually go for 'brain training' games, but Dabble has a certain mechanical honesty that I appreciate. It’s not trying to tell a story or sell you hats for an avatar. It’s just you, a clock, and a bunch of letters. The requirement to build words of specific lengths adds a layer of strategy that standard anagram games lack. You might find a great 6-letter word only to realize you’ve left yourself with a 'Z' and no way to make a 2-letter word.

The UI is clean, and the feedback loop is tight. It’s the kind of game that’s perfect for a 5-minute break. However, it lacks long-term depth. Once you’ve played a dozen rounds, you’ve seen the core of what the game has to offer. There are no real unlocks or escalating mechanics to keep a veteran gamer hooked for weeks. It’s a good, focused puzzle game, but it’s a 'snack,' not a meal.

Start by building your longest word (6 letters) first. It's much easier to find shorter words like 2 or 3-letter combinations with the remaining tiles than to try and fit a long word at the end.
