Defender 1 is a classic tower defense game that sticks to the basics. You have a path, you have enemies, and you have towers. It doesn't reinvent the wheel, but the balancing is tight enough that you have to think about your tower placement and upgrade path to survive the later waves.

The graphics are functional but a bit dated, and the variety of enemies could be better. However, it’s a solid choice if you're looking for a traditional TD experience without all the modern clutter of loot boxes and daily log-in rewards. It’s simple, direct, and provides a decent challenge for fans of the genre.

Dinsun Review

Dinsun here. Look, I grew up in arcades. I know Defender. This isn’t it. The controls are the main culprit; trying to manage the 'reverse' and 'thrust' buttons on a glass screen while tracking a dozen enemies is a recipe for a headache. It captures the look, but it misses the tactile precision that made the original a masterpiece. It's too hard for the wrong reasons.
