I don't get it. If I want to relax, I go for a walk or read a book. I don't poke a screen to hear a recorded pop sound. Destress is a 'game' without any game. It’s a box of digital junk. Popping bubble wrap on a glass screen feels nothing like the real thing, and the wood-cutting mini-game is just sliding your finger back and forth until the phone vibrates.
It’s a gimmick that wears off in three minutes. They call it ASMR, but most of the sounds are tinny and artificial. It feels like a project someone threw together over a weekend to capitalize on the 'stress relief' trend. It’s not offensive, it’s just boring. If you’re so stressed that you need an app to cut digital grass, you probably need a lifestyle change, not a download. Conservative scoring for a product that barely qualifies as software.
