Fun game but not worth spending real $$
Thu Jun 05 2025 bax3Update: I heard back from the developer. They said “purchases are optional”. I agree, but, not if you want to regularly play the game. I get they want to make money, but maybe make it a “one time purchase” (a free version and a paid version) or something. I just logged in, and before I even got to the screen to play, there were 4 ads to buy extra coins with different “deals”. I got my daily coin bonus (2600 or so coins) but it takes almost 10,000 coins to play a round and if you want any boosters (extra card, wild card), those cost 15,000 coins or more!
My review stands. Good game, but too much of a money grab to play regularly.
———————————————-
I like this game but don’t really play anymore because the “cost” per hand is too expensive. If you are not careful, you could end up spending lots of REAL money competing levels as the coins needed to start each level, add card (if you run out) or play a wild card (if you’re stuck) often end up being significantly more than you earn if you win a level and to continue you need to buy coins using real money.
Fun, but I think I rather have ADs
Mon Jun 09 2025 P53 EnthusiastOne of the biggest selling points on this games marketing is there’s no advertisements while you play the game. To compensate monetarily for this, the game makes it hard to successfully play more than 2 games per hour without having to spend virtual coins for power ups. Once you run out of coins, you are prompted to purchase more coins with actual money. The ‘randomness’ in this game does not feel truly random at all. Too often, the more games you play after your daily rewards, the worse the hand you’re given gets.
I agree with many other reviews that you shouldn’t expect to win unless you pay, either virtual coins or actual money. Honestly, I really rather have ADs in the game if it means the ‘randomness’ gets skewed to the players favor rather than the games, or at least somewhere in the middle. You barely get any coins in return for what you spend.
The graphics in the game are adorable and I like the selection of scenes they’ve chosen. However, the tactics to get players to spend real money are very sad and I would rather have ADs than have to deal with a game that’s unjustly skewed. I hope they change that soon because I’m honestly getting tired of this game. Many other reviewers feel fatigued too quickly because the odds aren’t in your favor. I understand that the game developers must profit somehow, but the tactics being pushed too far to the point you’re likely not going to keep player retention in the long run.
SO FUN AND CUTE
Sun May 04 2025 Bre603I really, really enjoy this. I like solitaire, obviously! But having familiar Disney characters/scenes to unlock along these way makes it a bit more magical and fun. The visual style and playful music within the game remind me of the Disney Getaway app game. I looooved that game until I had to start over when it moved to Apple Arcade. So finding this one that is similar in every way except game play was exciting.
My only critique is that I wish the theme of the level correlated with the scene you are in. Ideally it would be in sync with the scene you’re working on. Ex: when working on unlocking the frozen scene, the background behind the cards would be frozen themed and the music would be one of the tunes from the movie. There’s already music from the movies playing when you aren’t in a game! It would just help it feel more connected to the goal of finishing a scene.
Alternatively, when you finish a scene, you unlock a theme and you choose which theme you want for your cards. You could even do it separately so you can customize having the visual theme you want and a different music theme, if the user would want. OR! As far as the music goes, the little instrumental versions that already exist in game could be on a playlist and you can customize it so only the ones you want play, and of course you unlock more as you go!
This is a very minor, kind of aesthetic thing. The game itself is awesome and addictive as is!
Not Sustainable
Sat May 24 2025 bb8211bbWhile this game has a lot of potential, it is not sustainable. Moving up levels, everything costs more but you’re not winning or gaining more, leaving the only option to come back every hour to collect the prize coins and maybe you can play two levels a day. Wild cards and additional cards are going to be needed but every single time you buy one the price goes up. If you leave the game, you’ve lost your coins, haven’t advanced and have to wait until you collect more coins. The packages to buy more coins is almost reasonable yet having to do so as often as each person needs to isn’t sustainable. With this economy and so many people not having jobs makes that hard. This could be a very good game for those suffering with anxiety and depression (amongst other things) as it gives you goals to work for as well as puzzles to complete and new character arcs to be able to complete. But again, costing an arm and a leg to play isn’t sustainable. The price to pay per level needs to drop and stay at a lower rate. You’re only winning enough coins to play the next level, possibly. The amount of coins it takes to get an extra hand or wild card is astronomical and needs to come way down. There’s no reason it should be so high and continue to rise. If what a person is winning isn’t going to get any higher, then why are the extras needed rising higher and higher by thousands? That all needs to change before this game can be truly enjoyable and relaxing.
Addicting, Fun, and Frustrating
Sun Jun 15 2025 Dearth--FaderI know a lot of people complain about the coins and the reward system, but that’s the biggest area for improvement. I understand the developers need to make money in order to keep producing content, so the only reason I can think of for the ever increasing coin requirement to play is for people to have to buy a larger amount of coins the further their progress faster (although that is FAR from a guarantee). The RNG is brutal as well. If you’ve got 10 cards left in your draw pile with 2 cards on the board and your next draw is a wild, you better guess the right card to use the wild on because at best there’s only one useful card in the last 10 draws. And the +5 bonus cards isn’t going to help. I once got five 10s using that bonus once. That shouldn’t happen.
Other than what’s mentioned above and the unforgiving RNG,the thing I would like to suggest to improve is to make the hourly coin collection not stop accruing after an hour. The coins I collect should be based on how long I’ve been away. I don’t want to have to set an alarm each hour in order to be able to play more than one hand a day. If it cost 4k coins to play a standard round and I’ve been gone for 2.5 hours, I should be able to collect 10k coins.
Overall, it’s a fun game and I like playing it. But the rewards system and unforgiving RNG is burning me out fast.
Fun but…
Sat Jun 14 2025 Sugarglorykid6/14 edit: turns out tokens are supposed to be awarded for duplicate cards and this has never been an option for me. I’ve made in app purchases to increase the chances of completing the card collections too. The game is not working properly, the RNG has only gotten worse, rewards earned are not being granted (I did not collect the mirror rewards before the time ran out and lost them ALL.) and the whole vibe seems to be use it or lose it.
I got a notification that my first review was replied too, but even that seems to be impossible to find. I want to keep playing this game, but there is nothing keeping me interested.
Review #1: Super fun game, but if the developers want people to spend more time within the app, then they gotta loosen up a little. You spend more coins than you can earn, especially if you don’t want to pay for more coins. The RNG definitely catches on after a few wins and forces you to lose. Most days, I have enough coins to play one game before losing and closing the app until much later. Building the scenes is fun, but the only way to get a star is to beat the level… repeat 12 times to build one thing. There are many other games that allow me to spend hours in the app (without making a single in-game purchase) before I am forced to close it. I wish this game was one of those apps!!
Cannot complete tasks or advance without spending money
Sun Jul 20 2025 blasphemer25I’ve spent an embarrassing amount of money and time on this app because it is a fun game (level 1248). The cons- the extra cards boost almost never actually has the last card I need to win. I have had numerous levels where I have 10 cards in the deck and still lose because none are what are needed. I seem to only have win streaks after I spend money. I like that there’s a lot of side challenges but I’ve yet to actually win any of them. The streaks are impossible, I almost had all card albums and only needed 1 more card and couldn’t get it. Can’t get all ingredients from baskets to finish that either. Can’t win in Cars race because I can’t win more than one level a day now without spending money, my levels cost min. 4700 coins now. Don’t get enough coins for each level that you win without the multiplier. I only get to play a few games a day now and the challenges are out of the question since I can’t progress levels without spending even more money which I’m no longer willing to do. Pros-really fun when things are attainable, I love the carpet levels. Overall would rate higher if it didn’t feel so scammy having to spend money to progress and even play the levels along with magically winning after spending money.
Disney *Tripeaks* Solitare
Fri Apr 18 2025 Gacha WHAT!?I’ve played to about level 40 and here’s my thoughts, I have been really into playing solitaire recently and I’m a major Disney fan so I was really excited to play. However, when I got to playing I realized it wasn’t regular solitaire but a variant of it (tripeaks solitaire), which I still quite like but would’ve preferred basic solitaire. Although, it’s not something I can be bothered about because that’s how it’s advertised aside from the name. The reason I rated this the way I did is because although I think it’s really cute overall, I just wished there was a little more customization when it came to the star system. For example, I wish I could maybe change the color of the fish in The Little Mermaid section or the design of the ballroom in The Beauty and The Beast. I also think it could be cool to see the classic characters in fun colors or different designs and also have the original for people that want that, but I also understand wanting them to remain authentic to the original. One more thing, I really wish the levels didn’t cost anything to enter because at least in the beginning it was just cheaper to buy the wildcard or extra cards than play the level again, which I felt defeated the purpose of splurging the in game currency to beat the level.
Pay to Win
Tue May 13 2025 BandanaFoxThis game is addicting and I like the look of the characters but the game costs you for doing anything, whether it’s playing a level, using a booster or losing a level (which happens more often than winning). It’s really a game of chance rather than skill because the cards you receive in each level are random. There are times when I’m close to finishing a level with just one card left but the cards I have on hand aren’t the ones I need to win. When I run out of those cards, I’m forced to use a booster or restart the level, both of which costs you a good chunk of coins, but restarting causes me to lose my progress with the side games (such as Triton’s rainbow or Pooh’s balloon trip). Then when I run out of coins needed to play a level, I have to wait every hour to collect 2,400 coins to play the level again, which I’ll most likely lose again, which will force me to wait again. This really slows the pace of the game. I’m not sure why the game charges you to play a level when you’ll be losing most of the time, unless it’s to force players to pay actual money for coins and boosts. For a game meant to pass the time, there sure is a big gambling aspect to it.
Fun for a little while
Tue Apr 29 2025 JMT984It starts out simple but fun. Then you run out of gold because you have to pay to play a level, pay to undo a move, pay an astronomical amount to get extra cards, pay to use your ability, and you end up not being able to actually play the game for more than 1 or 2 puzzles at a time. I know it’s predatorily designed to try and get you to spend money and buy packs and gold, etc, but it’s not worth it and definitely not worth playing until they implement some changes.
Edit: it continues to get worse. When I first started the game, the little timed events gave 5 tokens for a win, and 10 for a win first try. Then it went down to 2 and 10, now it’s at 1 and 10. And some attempts are legit impossible without wasting gold and then you’re back to not being able to play. I know the cards layouts are just RNG, but it’s hard to not feel like it’s rigged when it’s very clear they really want you to spend money.
Second edit: I’m done. I would love to play the game but anytime I open it, I have to click past like a dozen pop ups, most of which are begging you to spend money. The coin system is terrible, the puzzle and “reward” system are manipulative and predatory, and the actual game portion feels extremely rigged. NO ONE should be playing - and certainly not paying - for this blatant money grab.
