Doodle Tanks is a delightful addition to the 'Doodle' series, taking the addictive element-combining gameplay and applying it to the fascinating world of armored warfare. For history buffs and tank enthusiasts, this is a treat. You start with basic concepts and slowly unlock the components needed to 'discover' legendary tanks from WWII and beyond. The educational snippets provided for each unlocked vehicle add a nice layer of historical context that makes each discovery feel like more than just a puzzle solution.

The logic can sometimes be a bit of a stretch—figuring out exactly which two abstract concepts lead to a Tiger tank requires some trial and error—but that's part of the charm. The sketchbook art style remains iconic and clean, making the UI easy to navigate. It’s a slower-paced, intellectual game that rewards curiosity and patience. While it doesn't have the action of a simulator, its unique approach to 'crafting' history makes it a standout in the puzzle category.

The Doodle series has been milked to death, and Doodle Tanks is just another bucket of the same milk. You combine 'Track' + 'Metal' to make a tank. It’s a trial-and-error puzzle game that relies on 'logic' that is often anything but logical. It’s mildly educational if you care about specific tank models, but the gameplay is literally just tapping two icons and seeing if they make a third icon. It's the ultimate 'boredom' game. If you’ve played Doodle God, you’ve played this. The change in theme doesn't change the fact that the mechanics are ten years old.
