Dinsun here. If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, the developers of Darkest Dungeon should be blushing. Dungeon Survival takes the core loop—stress, side-scrolling dungeons, and brutal turn-based combat—and shrinks it for mobile. It’s not a bad game, per se; it's just very familiar.

The difficulty is there, which I appreciate, and the strategy in team composition is solid. However, it lacks the oppressive atmosphere and 'grime' that made its inspiration so memorable. The UI is a bit of a mess, with too many buttons and small text that makes playing on a phone a chore. It’s a decent enough grind for the hardcore RPG fan, but it feels like a 'budget' version of a better game.
