I’ve played card games for decades, and while Durak is a solid game, this app is the definition of 'no frills.' It’s a clean interface, sure, and the multiplayer works without much lag—which is the bare minimum for a card game in 2014. But there's zero character here. No flair in the animations, no sense of 'presence' at the table. It feels like playing a spreadsheet with card icons.
If you love Durak and don't have friends nearby with a deck of cards, this will do the job. But as a 'video game,' it’s remarkably uninspired. The social features are standard, and the chat is... well, it’s an online card game chat, so keep your expectations low. It’s fine. It’s just fine. It’s like a bowl of plain oatmeal—it fills the hole, but you won't remember it ten minutes later.
