Dinsun Review
Dinsun here. Fillwords is exactly what it looks like. It’s a grid of letters. You drag your finger to make words. When the grid is empty, you go to the next level. There is no story, no flashy graphics, and no real innovation. It is the digital equivalent of a paperback puzzle book you buy at the airport.
I give it a perfectly mediocre 50 because it isn't broken, but it isn't special either. The 'snaking' word mechanic requires slightly more spatial reasoning than a standard straight-line word search, which I appreciate. However, the vocabulary used is often extremely basic, and the app is heavily laden with ads between levels unless you pay to remove them. It’s a functional app for people who like letters, but it’s completely disposable.
