Seven of these? Seriously? I've seen some questionable franchises in my time, but the Banban series is an affront to the horror genre. This isn't horror; it’s a collection of poorly optimized assets designed to be screamed at by influencers. The puzzles are nonsensical and exist only to pad the runtime, which is already offensively short. The 'monsters' look like they were made in a weekend by someone who has never seen a creepy thing in their life.

The gameplay is a chore. Walking through empty, neon-colored hallways waiting for a canned animation to pop up and play a loud sound effect isn't 'atmospheric'—it’s lazy. The story is a convoluted mess of 'lore' that feels like it’s being made up as they go along just to keep the theorists busy. It’s the gaming equivalent of a jumpscare compilation on mute. I’ve played better horror games made by solo students in their dorm rooms.
