Dinsun Review
Goal Battle is essentially a high-budget version of those old flash games we used to play in the office. It captures the tension of a penalty shootout reasonably well, but it lacks the nuance of a full football simulation. The swipe controls are responsive, though sometimes the ball does things that defy the laws of physics.
The multiplayer matches are quick, which is its greatest strength. However, it quickly becomes repetitive. Once you’ve mastered the 'trick shots,' it’s more about luck and latency than actual skill. The monetization is also quite present—expect to see plenty of offers for better gear. It’s a fine way to spend ten minutes, but as someone who values deep gameplay systems, I find it a bit thin. It’s more of a casual toy than a sports game.
