Dinsun Review
Dinsun here. Goober’s Lab isn't a 'bad' game, but it's a prime example of the mediocrity currently flooding the App Store. It takes the match-3 formula, slaps a 'mad scientist' coat of paint on it, and calls it a day. The puzzles are serviceable, but they lack the 'aha!' moment that defines truly great logic games.
At 40, I don't have the patience for games that don't respect my intelligence. The early levels are mind-numbingly easy, and the difficulty curve feels more like a series of random bumps than a steady climb. The art is cute, sure, but the sound effects are grating after twenty minutes. It’s fine for a child, but if you’re looking for a serious mental challenge, look elsewhere.
