I’ve spent four decades watching this industry evolve, and then I see something like this 'Cookie Mod' obby, which feels like a step backward into a digital swamp. It’s a textbook example of the 'quantity over quality' plague currently infecting mobile storefronts. The level design is a haphazard collection of floating platforms and generic traps that lack any sense of rhythm or cohesive challenge. It’s the kind of game that relies entirely on a trending keyword to trick children into a loop of frustration.
From a technical standpoint, it’s a disaster. The collision detection is virtually non-existent; you’ll find yourself clipping through floors or dying to invisible hitboxes that were clearly never tested. There is no soul here, no artistic intent—just a cynical attempt to farm ad views through a clunky, uninspired interface. If this is the future of 'casual' gaming, I’d rather go back to playing Pong on a CRT. It respects your time even less than it respects your intelligence.
