The novelty of building a functional firearm out of blocks is undeniably strong at first. There is a genuine sense of pride when you take a monstrosity you’ve cobbled together into a match and realize it actually works. However, as an old-school gamer, I find the actual competitive shooting mechanics to be far too thin. The physics-based recoil is a nice touch, but the 'matches' feel more like simple shooting gallery minigames than a true test of skill.
It’s a great tech demo for a crafting system, but the longevity isn't there. Once you've built a few optimal designs, the loop becomes repetitive. The lack of varied game modes means you’re essentially doing the same target practice over and over. It's fine for a quick distraction on the train, but don't expect a deep tactical shooter here.
