I'm not Persian, but I appreciate a good trick-taking game. Hokm is essentially the ancestor of Spades or Bridge. This specific app is utilitarian—it doesn't have the flashy animations of a modern Vegas casino game, and that's a good thing. It’s clean, the card logic is sound, and it doesn't try to sell you a battle pass every five seconds.

My only real gripe is the UI, which looks like it hasn't been updated since 2012. The buttons are small and the menus are clunky. Also, if you’re a beginner, the AI is either surprisingly competent or frustratingly erratic; there’s very little middle ground. But if you know how to play and just want a quick round on your lunch break, it does exactly what it says on the tin.
