Dinsun here. I’ve seen this template a hundred times: Candy Crush meets HGTV. It’s a cynical way to make a game. The actual design part—choosing furniture and seeing the rooms transform—is actually quite polished and aesthetically pleasing. There’s a genuine sense of satisfaction when a room finally comes together.
But the game won't let you just design. It forces you to play generic match-3 levels that get unfairly difficult very quickly just to earn the 'right' to buy a lamp. It’s a transparent attempt to sell power-ups. The 'story' is as shallow as a puddle, and the characters are cardboard cutouts. If you want to design, there are better creative apps; if you want match-3, there are better puzzles. This hybrid is just a chore designed to empty your wallet.
