Surprisingly addictive
Thu Apr 14 2022 DevonZmajI didn’t expect much from this game, but I actually am really hooked by the story, decorating and characters, and I love the gameplay (think diner dash style but for concierge services at a hotel) and especially love that I don’t have to do boring matching or merging to proceed with decorating and the storyline.
I don’t mind spending some money on boosters and such either. I find the prices reasonable, no gouging and you do NOT have to purchase to win levels or achieve certain key items - ads can be a bit annoying but are mostly optional and the occasional one that slips in is mostly skippable.
I wish however that I could revisit past hotels not just to look at them but to play additional levels just for fun or maybe play enough levels and get a small prize (booster or something). I miss playing at some of the locations more than others. I’m playing the space themed hotel right now and I love the theme, decor and music. I’m going to be sad to leave this location. But each level/location is pretty fun and they keep it interesting. Highly recommend giving this one a try.
Great game/NOT worth the anxiety
Sun Jun 19 2022 gucciman17These multi tasking games are fun and engaging. However, I don't want to play games that increase my stress and anxiety. All of these games start off exactly the same. You play and play and do so well in the beginning stage to get you hooked and then the levels are nearly impossible to beat. I will watch the scoring and see how the score is rigged. I can’t even tell you how many times I have lost by a point or so. I have played the exact same level about 500 times and lose by the exact same score almost every time. If you want your score to be higher you MUST upgrade everything in the hotel and that requires stars and stars are NOT easy to come by UNLESS you pay. I understand and appreciate these games want to make money and are challenging but if they are so aggressive whereas you actually want to throw your screen across the room in frustration, it’s time to delete the app and that is where I have arrived with Hotel Frenzy. It’s a shame because it is fun and a nice escape but not at the expense of my emotional sanity. A guaranteed GREAT time….for the first day or so and a great time quickly will turn to high anxiety. I really think if the developers fix these issues they would actually make more money. They are guaranteed to NOT make a dime if the user deletes the app entirely. Something to think about.
Awesome game
Thu Aug 25 2022 AlliMarie08Ok so I’m going to update my review from one star to 5 stars, at least for now. By the end of the third motel the game gets a lot more challenging and gets a lot harder to collect diamonds...basically to the point where you feel like the only way to win some levels is to buy diamonds or power ups. HOWEVER, I will say that I’ve settled in to the game a little better and it IS still fun. That being said, you do have to watch a LOT of the ads and do a lot more waiting for motel upgrades to be able to pass some levels. Ads are also needed if you don’t feel like waiting several hours or an entire day to upgrade.
The game is fun and it is worth it for myself personally, but just be prepared to watch a lot of ads to be able to progress the game. The first few motels are super fun and easy to get through, but by the end of the third motel the dynamics change a bit. Give yourself time to get used to it before jumping in and making a review.
Meh
Tue Feb 01 2022 MachaquaThis is a fun game and all, but there are many flaws. Some of them are that that are too many ad offers and purchase offers being shown, as in after every level. And when it comes to decorating the room, there is usually just this really good choice that you need to watch an ad for and it’s just annoying. In general, there are a many ads. My question is, that in the levels, why wouldn’t you be able to accept other needs before the one in the front? All in all, this is a nice game, but it frequently frustrates me. As a final note, please know that this game is not like the advertisement where you add up the total and hand them their key and there is no VIP room; I kind of started playing this game because of the given advertisement for it, but now I see that it’s just not the same-why do so many games do this?? However, this game is really fun in many ways; I like that there are hotel features and upgrades and also you can get hotel branches, which is cool. The room decoration options are nice and suitable for the room and I enjoy doing it.
Good game, room for improvement
Sat Feb 25 2023 fungamer86I have been playing this game for awhile, and while you can beat any level without purchasing anything; however the disadvantage of not paying is high. I really wish the movement spread can be upgradable. I have lost a few customers due to the fact the characters speed is too slow and has to move from one side of the hotel to another, and this is with the all the upgrades purchased and completed. I have bought several packs in this game but really feel movement speed should not be of the things you should have to purchase ( by which I am referring to the jet packs) once that can be changed I have no problems giving a 5 star review as the game is very fun and addicting. Also please lower the game pass price, I have played hundreds of game on phone, and console and have to say 20 bucks for a game pass is highest . I do think Ming buying packs from time to time and understand that’s how free games make their money, but that seems a bit much, as much as I would like to buy the pass I spend enough on packs that I can not justify an additional 20 just on a game pass.
Fun game, new levels added frequently.
Sat Apr 09 2022 why do I need a unique nameI’ve been playing a lot of hotel management games in the past year and this is the only one I’m still playing. It not only has a large number of hotels available now, it’s also updated frequently with new hotels. Typically, the next new hotel will open within a week or two of finishing the previous hotel.
My only complaint is the No-reward ads. I get that a game like this uses ads to make revenue, but until recently, there were always rewards for every ad. Recently, ads were added that just show up, either when you’re loading the game or when you finish a level. I’ve even finished a level and chosen NOT to watch the ad that doubles rewards only to have the game show me an ad that I receive no reward for. If the developers would eliminate the No-reward ads, I’d give the game five stars.
Fun but you need to pay to win
Sat Sep 10 2022 DeeguiserThis game is fun, challenging and addictive. I’ve enjoyed playing and I still do, but it has become frustrating. I get that developers want to make money , but I have now reached a point in the game where I have to keep spending money. The levels have gotten so challenging that you have to use a power up/boost in order to win. If I have to use a power up/boost on every level, then I’m constantly spending money and I’m not interested in constantly spending money. The packs you buy aren’t good. One pack gives you 30 minutes of playing time, but only gives you 2 boost and some diamonds. I would prefer more boosts. The more boost I get, the longer I play, so the extra 30 minutes is irrelevant. I’m also at a point in the game where it takes 12 hours to upgrade the rooms, food dispensers, and reception area. That means I have to wait until the next day to continue. I think it would be a good idea if the developers reduce the upgrade time.
Game wise, it’s good, ads are disgusting
Sat Jul 16 2022 mika(Lovelee)Speaking of the game itself, I think it has a lot of fun features, but it says the age is 4 year age and up and even though I as an adult was playing, there were ads that were sexual and very inappropriate for a young child to have seen it, had a allowed my children to play this game based on the age. For that reason, I give it the low rating based on the quality of ads, but not based on the performance and quality of the game. The ads are unacceptable and I literally do not understand why the world has to be oversexualized in pretty much everything! I personally don’t mind ads in general because I am introduced to new games that I would otherwise not have known about such as this one, but until the changes are made for the ads allowed in this game if they have such control over that, I have uninstalled the game for that reason. It’s sad because it is similar to diner dash.
Really fun but expensive
Fri Sep 16 2022 fun but limited boostersI absolutely love this game. It has a story line and everything. However the levels become increasingly harder and you cannot pass them without boosters. There is a booster pack that you have to pay 9.99 for 10 mins of unlimited boosters but the levels are like 3-4 mins which means you can only get thru 3-4 levels before they run out for 10 bucks it should at least be a half an hour or the level should stop once you achieve the goal. But no you have to continue the level once you have achieved the goal and if you continue to play and miss one of the goals you lose even though you have already achieved the goal. I play this game sparingly because I know every time I play will cost. You also have to use diamonds and coins to upgrade and this is just ridiculous. But again it is fun but expensive.
Fun, engaging, no fuss!
Sat Dec 25 2021 ~337~ for lifeSooo, I have Covid. During the hour or so I’m awake I play apps on my iPad. I saw the ad for this game and I just had to try it because it reminds me of an extremely similar, that was a hotel time management game. I used to play it on my iPad first generation. However, this similar, updated version is so fun. It’s engaging, so far no glitches, and despite the ads and pop ups for in-app purchases, I love this game. It keeps me busy when I am awake, and keeps my mind off of being sick. I only took one star away because it forces you to use up your stars to decorate the room to move-on. I like to build up stars and then decorate all at once. Not possible in this game, but none-the-less, I can still advance to the next level without having to be forced to make any app purchases. That’s a sign of an honest app creator, and perfect for me.
Happy playing to all!
