Finally, something worth playing. Humbug 2 doesn't need flashy graphics or cheap tricks. It relies entirely on its mechanics. Each bug moves differently—spiders move in straight lines until they hit something, grasshoppers jump two spaces, etc. It’s simple, elegant, and genuinely challenging.
This is the kind of game I appreciate. It gives you the rules and then expects you to use them. No hand-holding, no fluff. The minimalist aesthetic works in its favor, keeping the focus on the board. My only real complaint is that it’s over too quickly, and some of the later levels feel like they have only one very specific solution rather than allowing for creative play. Still, it’s a rare gem in the mobile market.
