Infinity Beats Song Edition is a high-energy rhythm game that successfully bridges the gap between classic 'falling note' gameplay and a modern, futuristic aesthetic. The tracklist is curated with a focus on electronic and EDM artists like F-777 and ColBreakz, which fits the neon, space-themed visuals perfectly. What sets this apart is the customization; you can change everything from note skins to hit effects, making the game feel personal.
The gameplay is smooth and scales well across difficulty levels. The inclusion of 2-key, 4-key, 5-key, and 6-key modes ensures that both casual fans of rhythm games and 'hardcore' players looking for a finger-twisting challenge will find something to love. While it uses an energy system, it’s quite generous, and the ability to buy songs permanently is a great option. It’s a solid, polished rhythm game that feels great to play with headphones, offering a true sense of flow.
Dinsun here. I’ve seen enough rhythm games to know that if you don't have a unique hook or an incredible library, you're just noise. Infinity Beats is, unfortunately, just noise. The UI is cluttered with neon assets that feel like they were pulled from a '2015 Cyberpunk' asset pack, and the note registration is occasionally inconsistent on higher difficulties.
My biggest gripe is the song selection. It’s a mishmash of generic tracks that lack the soul of something like Cytus or Arcaea. The difficulty spikes are artificial—moving targets rather than complex rhythmic patterns. For a 'Song Edition,' I expected much more variety and higher production value. It’s playable, sure, but in a market flooded with superior, more creative music games, there is very little reason to spend time here. It lacks the 'rhythm' in its own soul.
Performance: Input lag can occur when too many particles are on screen; requires a stable connection for leaderboards.
