I’ll be blunt: I don't consider this a video game. It's a psychological trigger tool. Jackpot Friends is a collection of flashing lights and loud noises designed to keep you pressing a single button. There is zero gameplay here. No skill, no choice, no strategy. You just press 'Spin' and hope the algorithm gives you some fake coins so you can press 'Spin' again. It’s a mindless loop that feels entirely predatory, even if it doesn't involve real money.
The UI is a nightmare of pop-ups, 'limited time' sales, and social pressure to join clubs. It’s designed to be addictive, and it doesn't hide it. The graphics are gaudy and over-the-top, clearly meant to mimic the most distracting parts of a Las Vegas floor. As a 40-year-old gamer, I find this offensive to the medium. There are actual games out there with stories, mechanics, and art. This is just a slot machine that lives in your pocket. Avoid it like the plague.
