Levers is a masterclass in balance—literally. The game tasks you with hanging various weights on a mobile to keep it level while collecting stars. It sounds simple, but the implementation of torque and physics is incredibly precise. You’ll find yourself carefully eyeing the tilt of a beam, sweating over where to drop a tiny weight.
What makes Levers so compelling is its peaceful atmosphere contrasted with the high-stakes tension of a collapsing mobile. The 'Zen' mode is a lovely addition for those who just want to play with the physics, while the challenge levels provide a legitimate brain-tickling experience. It’s one of those rare puzzle games that feels grounded in real-world science while remaining completely accessible to a casual player.
I usually have no patience for 'minimalist' games—most of the time it’s just an excuse for lack of effort. But Levers actually uses its simplicity to focus on a decent physics hook. There’s a genuine tension in placing that last piece, watching the whole structure wobble, and praying it holds. It’s quiet, it’s focused, and it doesn't try to sell me virtual currency every five minutes.
That said, it’s a bit of a one-trick pony. Once you understand the weight distribution, the later levels feel like more of the same, just bigger. It lacks the 'aha!' moments of a truly great puzzler like Portal. It’s a good way to kill twenty minutes on a commute, but don’t expect it to change your life. It’s competent, which is more than I can say for 90% of the App Store.

Collect stars and unlock new levels as you master the laws of torque and gravity. With its soothing soundtrack and tactile gameplay, Levers is as relaxing as it is challenging.
Realistic physics engine
Beautifully rendered 3D graphics
Multiple game modes including Zen and Challenge
Intuitive touch-and-drag controls
Remember that distance from the center is just as important as weight. A heavy weight near the middle can be balanced by a light weight at the very end of a lever arm.

Tap to attach weights to the hooks. Keep the structure level to earn points; if it tilts too far and touches the water, the level ends.
There are over 40 handcrafted levels, each with increasing complexity.
