Dinsun here. Another day, another doll maker. Magic Star does exactly what it says: it lets you dress up a character. The art style is cute in that ubiquitous anime way, and there are a lot of items to unlock. However, unless you enjoy spending hours matching shoes to hats, there is nothing here for you.
The 'community' features are just a way to look at other people's dolls, and the monetization is geared toward limited-time outfits and premium currencies. It’s a creative tool for a very specific audience, but as a gamer, I find the total lack of objectives or systems to be a dealbreaker. It's a digital paper doll set.
