Majotori in IOS

An interactive narratrivia

Walkthrough, Guilds, Tips on this special game

Our Site Score

85/100

Majotori is a delightful surprise that blends the high-stakes consequences of a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' story with a quirky trivia engine. You play as Lariat the Witch, who offers to solve the problems of various characters—but only if you can answer her trivia questions. The genius of the game lies in its branching paths; a wrong answer doesn't just end the game, it leads to a hilarious or tragic alternative reality for the characters involved.

The writing is sharp, witty, and deeply entrenched in geek culture, with questions spanning video games, anime, and movies. While some might find the heavy focus on 'nerd' trivia niche, the ability to adjust category frequency makes it accessible. It's short, punchy, and incredibly charming, making it a must-play for anyone who loves a good story with a side of brain-teasing.

Dinsun Review

This is a weird one. It’s basically a 'choose-your-own-adventure' book where the 'choices' are trivia questions about video games, movies, and history. It’s got a dark sense of humor that I actually appreciate. It’s not particularly 'deep,' and the art style is very basic, but the writing is clever enough to keep you interested. I hate that my progress depends on whether I know some obscure pop culture fact, but at least it’s an original concept. Better than your average quiz app.
