As a former band geek, I was skeptical about a Marching Band Simulator, but this app is a revelation for anyone involved in the performing arts. It’s essentially a high-end drill-design tool and rhythm game rolled into one. You can coordinate dozens of individual musicians, setting their paths, instrument types, and even their step styles. The level of customization is staggering.

The real magic is in the playback. Seeing a complex 'picture-move' come together in 3D is incredibly satisfying. It’s also a fantastic educational tool; I can see band directors using this to show students exactly where they need to be on the field. Also, fixed a bug where the color guard button appeared all the time (it should only appear when selecting color guard members now).

Setting Your Grid

Start by setting your performers on the 4-step or 8-step grid. It's much easier to create clean 'block' rotations if you align your performers to the hashes and sidelines first before attempting free-form curves.
