Merge Duck 2 is a delightfully weird and addictive idle RPG. It takes the familiar 'merge' mechanic—where you combine two identical units to create a stronger one—and applies it to a vast army of combat-ready ducks. The character designs are hilarious and creative, ranging from ducks in wizard hats to ducks that look like superheroes.

What makes it more than just a simple merger is the turn-based RPG combat. Once you’ve built your flock, you send them into battle where positioning and duck-type synergies matter. It’s a perfect 'set it and forget it' game for busy people, but it has enough depth in the collection and upgrade systems to keep you coming back to see what ridiculous duck you'll unlock next. It’s charming, colorful, and genuinely funny.

Dinsun here. Merge Duck 2 is exactly what you think it is. You take two ducks, you make a bigger duck, and then you send that duck to hit a monster. It’s a formula that works, and this game executes it with a fair amount of charm. The duck designs are creative and often funny, which kept me interested longer than I expected.

However, it’s still a merge game at its heart, which means there’s a lot of waiting. The tactical combat is 'auto-light'—you have some input, but the AI does the heavy lifting. As a conservative gamer, I find the lack of direct control a bit disappointing. It’s a good game to play while you’re doing something else, but it’s not something I’d sit down to 'play' seriously. It’s fine for what it is, but it’s just another drop in the massive ocean of mobile hero collectors.
