Dinsun Review

Nine Men's Morris is a game I grew up playing on the back of checkerboards, and this version captures it perfectly. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel—it just provides a clean, functional interface to play a very old, very balanced game. The AI is surprisingly competent on the higher difficulties, which is more than I can say for most 'classic' apps.

It’s a bit dry, sure. There are no fancy animations or modern bells and whistles, but for a strategy purist, that’s a plus. My only real gripe is the online player base can be thin at times, making local play the better option. It’s a respectable app for a respectable game. If you like classic board games, this is the one to get.
