I’ve probably spent more hours on Minesweeper than I have on most actual RPGs, mostly while waiting for files to copy in the 90s. Minesweeper Q Premium doesn't try to make it 'extreme' or add a story about mining for space crystals—it just gives you the board. I appreciate that. The touch controls are actually quite smart here; it’s easy to flag tiles without the accidental 'boom' that usually ruins mobile versions.

The 'Premium' tag mostly just means you aren't being bombarded by ads, which is a low bar but one I'm happy to pay for. It’s exactly what you expect. No bells, no whistles, just the logic. It's a bit overpriced for something you can play for free in a browser, but for a 40-year-old who wants a clean experience without flashy distractions, it’s a solid purchase. It’s dependable, like a good set of tools.
