Our Site Score

94/100

Miracle Merchant is an absolute triumph in mobile game design. Blending solitaire-style card mechanics with a potion-brewing theme, it requires thoughtful planning and risk management. The goal is to clear four decks of ingredient cards by brewing potions for demanding customers, and balancing your resources so you don't run out of a specific color is deeply engaging.

The artwork is simply phenomenal. Arnold Rauers' distinct, quirky illustration style gives every customer and potion a vibrant personality. It's a quick game to play—taking only a few minutes per round—but it's so satisfying that I constantly find myself saying 'just one more game.' A must-play for card game enthusiasts.

Dinsun Review

Arnold Rauers has a knack for these stylish, single-mechanic card games, and Miracle Merchant is a decent entry. The core loop—mixing four ingredients to satisfy a customer’s color preference—is easy to grasp but requires enough foresight to avoid running out of essential cards. It’s a solid 'coffee break' game. I appreciate the lack of fluff; it’s a pure mechanical exercise wrapped in a charming, quirky art style that doesn't try too hard.

However, it wears thin quite quickly. Once you understand the scoring bonuses and how to mitigate the 'poison' cards, the depth plateaus. There isn't enough variety in the customer demands or the card pool to sustain hours of play. It’s well-made, certainly, and avoids the predatory monetization found in most mobile games today, but it’s a minor work. It’s good for a few days of distraction, but it’s not something I’d consider a classic of the genre.
