Dinsun Review
I've played better life sims in a browser in 2010. MomLife Simulator tries to tug at the heartstrings but mostly just tests your patience with nonsensical choice outcomes. You choose a 'healthy' snack and somehow end up in a fight with your husband that ruins your 'happiness' meter for three turns. It's arbitrary. The writing is basic and frequently falls into tired stereotypes about parenting and domestic life.
The art style is that generic 'mobile ad' look that I've grown to loathe. It’s clean, sure, but it has no personality. The mini-games are distractions at best and chores at worst. I see what they were trying to do—create a 'BitLife' with more visuals—but it lacks the wit and depth of its competitors. It’s not exactly broken, but it’s certainly not rewarding. A 48 is being fair for something that’s essentially a glorified clicker with a script.
