I've been gaming since the 80s, and I still don't understand the appeal of a game that plays itself. Mr. Jackpot Vegas is a textbook example of a 'game' designed by a spreadsheet rather than a designer. You press a button, colors flash, and numbers go up or down. There is no strategy, no skill, and certainly no soul. The UI is cluttered with 'deals' and 'special offers' that make me feel like I’m being hustled in a back alley rather than relaxing at home.
The math behind the reels is hidden, and the dopamine loops are transparent. If you've played one mobile slot game in the last decade, you've played this. It doesn't innovate on the genre—if you can even call it a genre—and it exists solely to occupy time and potentially extract microtransactions from the unwary. I’d much rather play a game where my inputs actually matter.
